The Pole Hill Powerplant Protective Relay, Annunciation, and Controls Replacement project is a multi-year capital investment to replace aging and obsolete protective relays, auto-synchronizer equipment, annunciation systems, control panels, fiber optics, and station service components that are over 60 years old and increasingly unreliable1905-Pole Hill Protective Relay. Current equipment failures pose a significant risk of forced outages, equipment damage, and safety hazards, directly impacting plant reliability and power generation. This project modernizes critical electrical and control systems to ensure continued safe, reliable operation and maintain long-term generation capability at Pole Hill.
