Description
The contractor will be required to provide train-the-trainer training, participant workbooks, and applicable software licenses to deliver an evidence-based intervention on processing pain signals. This curriculum will be evaluated to identify cultural competence or opportunities for adaptation. The intervention should include 1-2, pre-recorded sessions. Content includes peripheral sensitization, central sensitization, and biopsychosocial factors associated with pain, threat appraisal of the brain, nociception, stress and endocrine responses in pain as well as various therapeutic endogenous strategies to ease pain, various images, metaphors and examples were used to convey the content to adolescents and adults.
