Description
The SEFSC requires Fishery Observer Support Services contract Biological observers are required to monitor commercial fisheries and oil and gas structure removal from from the Gulf of Mexico. Fisheries observers are placed on commercial fishing vessels where they collect fishing related data needed to manage the fisheries the vessels are participating in. Platform Removal Observers assess impacts of these removals on sea turtles and marine mammals.
