Description
This project aims to develop and deploy a reliable and robust source range nuclear 2 channel system for the NBSR. During reactor startup, at least two nuclear channels must be operable. This project will encompass the investigation, design, procurement, build, and testing of two new Source Range Nuclear Channels. The scope includes functional replacement of the TK 250 units with equivalent or superior detection capability, EMI mitigation strategies, testing of new channels in an EMI-prone environment to validate robustness, physical and signal integration with the current Reactor Safety System architecture.
