NORWEST-6 - Repair Fire Alarm Main Annunciator Failures, B-6, NWA
Type: Forecast
Overview
Description
NSA NWA Bldg 6 Repair FACP & Alarm Main Annunciator
Currently the fire alarms stop at the FACP (fire alarm control panel) located in the firehouse, they do not transmit to the RDC. If the crews are not in the station, the system is unmonitored.
What needs to be done:
The fire alarm distribution system at NWA needs to be modernized all the way from buildings to the RDC. This should design comprehensively but packaged into phased work packages, if possible (and only the FEAD will be able to determine this possibility once they get into the design) - first, to get something functional from the local fire station to the RDC and second, to rectify the base distribution system.
