Type: Forecast • Source ID: 52869

Overview

Description
NOAA is recapitalizing its facilities at the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC or NWC) Montlake Laboratory Campus. The project will utilize a Design-Build delivery method contract to complete all code required improvements (seismic-structural upgrades, fire and life safety, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work) such that no additional capital level investments are required for at least another 20 years. In addition to this code required work, renovations and reconfigurations to improve the efficiency and utilization of the campus programming will be performed. The project budget is between $50M and $70M. The requirements for the Design-Build project will be developed by an AE1 contractor via an AE IDIQ Task Order.
