Description
New recompete contract for Operational Load Monitoring System (OLMS) software and services. This project's intent is to utilize software to collect operational loads data such as aircraft gross weight, wind gust loads and maneuver loads during aerial firefighting missions. The collected data is then analyzed to understand the impact these loads have on the service life of each aircraft and to ensure that inspection intervals are appropriately set for aircraft operating in the challenging conditions of aerial firefighting. This project includes converting this flight data to engineering units.
