Description
The overarching requirement of this effort is the continuation of enhancements to improve the current Economic Benefit Model for a more robust, reliable, and repeatable valuation platform with technical safeguards, simplified processes, automated data sharing capabilities, and user-friendly data manipulation and visualization features (possibly in Tableau or Microsoft BI). The contractor shall further satisfy the following requirements for the updated Economic Benefits Model Provide model forecasting capabilities that calculates the expected/anticipated return on investment to assist decision-making needs in a clear and quantitative manner. Explore possible solutions for model platforms and data visualization capabilities and recommend the best option (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft BI, or similar. Allow for data to be updated and manipulated for multiple consecutive years in the future Provide model forecasting capabilities that calculates the expected/anticipated return on investment to assist decision-making needs in a clear and quantitative manner. Incorporate performance and process improvement metrics and measures results and process improvement results within current-year models and forecasting models. Allow for future modeling updates based on changes in international trade activities and Office of Trade operations Provides readily accessible data analysis and visualization tools that allow users to change or add drivers that reflect changing Office of Trade priorities and U.S. trade environment factors. Propose areas for improvement in coordinating Office of Trade data modeling tools. Allow for cross-model incorporation with the Resource Allocation Model as well as similar database sources to inform future anticipated cost benefit of a program or project. Asses Economic Benefits Model performance and configurations to ensure continued sustainment. Develop sustainment and knowledge sharing regarding model repair methods, tooling concepts, and processes management.
