Description
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
A/E shall provide TRANSDEC PCAS services during construction.
A/E shall provide the following services to TRANSDEC previously completed design package:
A/E shall review approved Final Design Package documents and revise per newly accepted Building and utility Code requirements.
A/E shall revise design to account for internal hoist beam being a minimum of 30 feet from the bottom of the hoist rail to the deck.
A/E shall revise design to change cart track length from 56 feet to a new length of 86 feet with access along entire length of cart track.
A/E shall revise hoist beam from a 2,000 pound rated beam to a revised a 4,000 pound rated beam to account for 2- 2,000 pound rated hoists.
A/E to comply with NAVFAC Crane Center requirements for hoists within the new building (inspection, access, power requirements, etc.).
A/E shall revise deck width to full bridge width on both sides.
A/E to update electrical systems and lighting within the new bridge house structure.
A/E to incorporate stairs on north exterior of building for hoist access.
A/E to incorporate procurement and installation of hoists and equipment within construction documents.
A/E to eliminate cutouts on board decks that allow access of cart track.
