Naval Air Warfare Center PEO(A) + PEO(T) Rapid Sustainment Support Requirement

Contractor shall provide engineering and technical support services for NAVAIR Lakehurst, PEO(T) Tactical Aircraft Division. In addition to supporting the organization's mission of serving as a reservoir of subsystem technical knowledge, the contractor shall assist in providing engineering and technical assistance for Support Equipment (SE) for all but not limited to PEO(T)'s portfolio as described in section 1.1. Section 1.1: PEO(T) Tactical Aircraft Division supports multiple chartered PMAs (program offices). Contractor shall support rigorous, diverse and carrier capable aircraft with various capabilities to ensure air and sea superiority through tactical and strategic technologies in support of the Navy and USMC. Contractor support shall include the Variety of Airframes and Propulsion Systems, Differences in Aircraft Size and Complexity, Differences in Engine Types, Aging Airframes, Obsolete Avionics Systems with a Shrinking Industrial Base, Diminishing Manufacturing Suppliers and Material Shortages, and Obsolete Manufacturing Processes and Material from Original Production Specifications. Contractor shall be required to provide services on unique aspects of aircraft and engine supportability issues and show extensive knowledge of current system performance and sustainability. Extensive knowledge by the contractor shall enable the contractor to assist immediately upon contract award. (Please note. Due to the time-sensitive nature of Navy training programs, PMAs will provide minimum familiarization training to the contractor.)
