Description
MAIN GATE SECURITY IMPROVEMENT - Reconstruct the Marine Corps Base (MCB) Butler Camp Foster primary Entry Control Facility (ECF), Gate 11, to comply with DOD physical security requirements as defined in UFC 4-022-
01 Entry Control Facilities Access Control Points, 4-022-02 Selection and Application of Vehicle Barriers, and 4-022-03 Security Fencing and Gates. The work shall mitigate existing security deficiencies/vulnerabilities for the main gate to access the Killin Elementary School and North Family Housing Towers compound area of Camp Foster. The project shall provide the necessary facilities, structures and features typical of a primary ECF consisting of, but not limited to: approach and access control and response zones, gate/sentry house, covered vehicle inspection area, perimeter fencing and gate, passive barriers, active final denial barriers, wrong way detection, backup generator system, vehicle parking, ID check area, overwatch, covered areas, turn around areas, and exterior lighting - resulting in a complete and useable facility.
