FEMA requires the protection of FEMA assets, personnel, and facilities and is required to meet Federal Standards. This request is for armed guards to support the protection of the FEMA personnel, property and in support of a declared declaration in the State of Georgia. The federal Protective Service is not able to support the large requirement and hours FEMA is requesting for the protection of Its assets, personnel, and facilities. At the direction of, and in coordination with FEMA OCSO security personnel, the security company will provide contract protective services officers to support response and recovery operations in the State of Georgia.
