Kronos Software Licenses and Maintenance Support

TSA requires the Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) suite of products to support the electronic Time, Attendance, and Scheduling (eTAS) system. eTAS is an automated system designed to eliminate manual processes and streamline scheduling and timekeeping activities for Transportation Security Officers (TSOs). Deployed across over 400 federalized airports, eTAS is utilized by more than 50,000 TSOs, with timecards processed for payroll submission on a bi-weekly basis (26 times per year). UKG products meet the technical and functional performance requirements necessary to support eTAS operations. These products enable eTAS to communicate with GovTA system hosted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Headquarters at the National Finance Center (NFC). ETAS employs custom interfaces to package and transmit timecard information securely from TSA to DHS/NFC. Additionally, UKG products provide TSOs with employee self-service functions, including the ability to view schedules, access timecards, request time off, check accrual balances, and submit shift-trade requests. The software also offers Scheduling Officers a centralized platform to efficiently manage federalized airport operations.
