Description
This project will repair the 1855 Rock Harbor Lighthouse tower. Work will stabilize deflection and repair spalling of brick and stone masonry of the 68-feet-high light tower and interconnecting passage to the keeper s quarters. Work will also include complete replacement of the 50 foot water damaged wood spiral stair leading to the inner chamber below the lantern room. To improve interior ventilation and suppress microbial growth, the project incorporates a photovoltaic-powered air exchange sys.
