Integrated Base Defense – Sustainment Support (IBD-SS)

Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PM FPS) and Product Manager Ground Sensors (PM GS) have requirements for comprehensive training, contractor logistics, operator and sustainment support services, to include material procurement, for equipment and capabilities in both CONUS and OCONUS. The effort requires an innovative program management approach to integrate multiple product support activities to include spares, warehousing/kitting management, maintenance, transportation, shipping, fielding, equipment operator training, contractor equipment operators, field service representatives (FSRs), helpdesk, systems engineering, supplier and total asset visibility management of Integrated Base Defense (IBD) and Force Protection (FP) Family of Systems (FOS). The effort's performance objective is to achieve cost savings and improved readiness and sustainment support through consolidated support services.
