INSTALLATION OF NAVY AND GWA INTERTIE, ROUTE 16, BARRIGADA GUAM

1. Request for Engineering Service to provide RFP package; SOW, GE, SAR , NEPA, and ESS. Projection of complete RFP package to be awarded for FY 23 Q2 ( January 2023) Project. 2. 35% RFP SOW/GE ( Design) submittal due date: NLT 09 February 2022 , FY 22 Q2. 60% Design submittal due date : NLT 20 March 2022, FY22 Q2; 100 % Design submittal NLT 09 May 2022 and Final Design submittal NLT 20 July 22 3. Request NEPA/CATEX/ SHPO and SAR to start NLT 04 January 2022 and be completed not later than 03 June 2022 Project Description: 1.This project is programmed to install an intertie between the Navy and Guam Waterworks Authority (GWA) water system at Route 16, Barrigada to enhance the reliability and resiliency of water supply at Radio Barrigada area. 2. The project includes but not limited to the following; wet tapping to both Navy and GWA existing transmission line, installation of subsurface traffic rated concrete vault, installation of water meters complete with appurtenances i.e., hydraulic check valves, meter test valve assembly, isolation gate valves, air release valve and associated pipes and fittings.
