Individual Professional Development Platform (Learning Management System for grant recipients)

The Individualized Professional Development (iPD) Portfolio https://eclkc.ohs.acf.hhs.gov/professional-development/article/individualized-professional-development-ipd-portfolio is an online, cloud-based learning management system on the Early Childhood Learning & Knowledge Center (ECLKC) website created to support ongoing PD in HS/EHS and childcare. Modules are self-paced and target HS/EHS staff roles and interests. Currently, the iPD offers users 114 live course options outlined in the iPD Course Catalogue. The iPD has over 100,000 users located throughout the country and has training approval agreements with 28 state partners. These training approval agreements ensure that iPD course completion counts towards state childcare licensing, and quality rating and improvement system (QRIS) training requirements. In addition, the iPD shares user course completion data with early childhood workforce registries in these states. The iPD information technology contractor will be responsible for quality oversight, software updates, maintenance, optimization, and development of the iPD. The contractor will deliver modern digital services that use Agile methodologies, DevOps techniques that embrace Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) across all environments including staging, and production, and follow the practices described in the Digital Services Playbook ((https://playbook.cio.gov/). The contractor will also collaborate with content creators to ensure a high-quality, robust library of course offerings measured by user feedback and data-informed practices.
