Individual Assistance Modernization
Type: Forecast • Source ID: F2025069741
Overview
Description
FEMA requires a modern, integrated disaster assistance system that enhances application tracking, automates case management, improves user experience, and strengthens fraud prevention efforts, ensuring that aid reaches eligible survivors as quickly and efficiently as possible.
FEMA s current disaster assistance system is built on dated technology that lacks the flexibility, scalability, and automation required to efficiently process survivor applications, manage casework, and disburse funds.
Contractor support and resources are required to develop and implement a modern, integrated solution that enhances application tracking, automates case management, improves user experience, and strengthens fraud prevention efforts, ensuring that aid reaches eligible survivors as quickly and efficiently as possible. This new system will be based on a modern, SaaS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
As part of these efforts, the contractor will provide expert analysis, technical assessments and platform selection recommendations to ensure that the chosen solution aligns with FEMA s modernization strategy. The contractor will also be responsible for collaborating with the selected vendor, supporting system design, development, integration and implementation efforts to ensure a seamless and effective deployment. This will result in a robust, scalable and integrated platform designed to fit the unique operational requirements, security mandates and survivor support needs inherent to FEMA s functional, technical and mission objectives.
