IBCTSUP-RED GEAR OVERHAUL PARTS AND TECH SVCS

The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Ice Breaker Buoy and Construction Tender Product Line intends to award, a Supply and Service Contract on a sole source basis, with firm fixed price delivery orders and task orders, to deliver various new parts, certified refurbished parts, and technical services for conducting overhauls on 225 WLB Reduction Gears. With a base year, and four (4) one (1) year ordering periods on the basis of other than full and open competition to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Timken Gears and Services Inc. dba Philadelphia Gear. The intent of this procurement is to supply new parts, and technical services for conducting Red Gear overhauls. The reduction gears are used onboard the 225 WLB class buoy tenders.
