High Temperature Gel Permeation Chromatography (HT-GPC) Instrument

Type: Forecast • Source ID: 42823

Overview

Description
This HT-GPC must include everything required to perform GPC at high temperatures: an integrated degasser, pump, dual-zone auto sampler, and oven. System configuration will be dual detector system with a very sensitive, infrared concentration detector along with a differential viscometer. The HT-GPC must be compatible with our existing multi-angle light scattering detector (Wyatt Technology Model Dawn Heleos II, 18 angle, with integrated heated transfer line). The HT-GPC system must be capable of absolute molecular mass determinations for polymers, particularly polyolefins and measure long-chain branching content, short chain branching content, along with dilute solution properties like intrinsic viscosity and radius of gyration as a function of molar mass. Non-SRM samples may contain large concentrations of particulates, so sample preparation that removes insoluble additives from solutions, while preventing interaction of hot, toxic
