Overview

Description
Provide architectural and engineering (A-E) services for the development and finalization of this project's DD1391; and complete A-E services to provide full design and construction documentation for providing pavement repairs at 1st Street. Work shall include but not be limited to road repair and restriping; repairs to curb and gutters; and traffic control during construction. Visually, this section of pavement is experiencing raveling and aging (pavement surface deterioration), alligator cracking (fatigue cracking), potholes, and areas of settlement. The paved roadway system is documented on the Property Records as having been originally constructed in 1940. All areas within this project shall be in compliance with applicable ATFP, Fire Suppression, Seismic, Accessibility, ASHRAE, and LEEDs standards (as required) upon completion of the project. Work shall also include but not be limited to communicating and coordinating with all MCBH stakeholders and NAVFAC agencies involved with this project, along with setting up design presentations and meetings, distributing deliverables and thorough/complete site surveys and investigations. The MCBH Design & Construction Standard (dated 11 Feb 2021) shall be followed as well as any updated documents.
