HI1808M Repair 1/12 Motor Pool Bay, B5001, MCBH

Provide complete A-E services to provide full design and construction documentation for repairing Building 5001 for the 1st Battalion, 12th Marines. Work shall include but not limited to repair and/or replacement of portions thereof to the existing civil, structural, electrical and mechanical and fire protection systems; Specific work includes repairs to metal roofs, gutters and downspouts; repairs to damaged trench drains and grates; repairs to deteriorated sections of metal structure and siding; replace deteriorated doors; interior/exterior painting; replace Fire Alarm system; electrical work to include replacing distribution panel and light fixtures throughout. Demolition as required; seismic and wind load structural improvements, if required; hazardous material testing and mitigation design through environmental engineering services; and landscape design should there be any civil site work disturbances. All areas within this project shall be in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations, & shall include but not limited to AT/FP, Security, Fire Protection, Seismic, Accessibility, ASHRAE; energy codes & standards; and Flood Plains codes & standards(as required). Work shall also include but not limited to communicating and coordinating with all MCBH stakeholders and NAVFAC agencies involved with this project, along with setting up design presentations & meetings, distributing deliverables and thorough & complete site surveys/investigations. The MCBH Design & Construction Standard (dated 11 Feb 2021) shall be followed as well as any updated requirements. NOTE: See enclosed DD1391 for additional guidance and directions.
