Description
The High Frequency Radio System (HFRS) MICOM 3T Recapitalization Project is a CG-761 effort to replace the end-of-life MICOM 3T, which was discontinued by the manufacturer as of September of 2020. Continued support of the MICOM 3T will become increasingly difficult as the inventory of spare parts begins to diminish. scope of work is for the RB-M-45, MLB-47,26 CB-OTH-MKIV, and 35 LRI-II small boats equipped with HF capability, as well as the 175, and 140 WLIC s. The objective of this project is to select a replacement for the MICOM 3T HF radio system including indicators, antennas, amplifiers, couplers, and other ancillary equipment to modernize the system.
