Description
The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain top-tier, university-provided, customized and modularized curriculum for an interdisciplinary baccalaureate degree in Global Leadership in Emergency Action Management (GLEAM). Participants accepted into the two-year GLEAM program will have already completed 60 hours of lower level undergraduate work and earned an AA/AS with the traditional curriculum prerequisite courses (e.g. English, Math, Social Science/History, Humanities and Science). The two-year GLEAM degree program will serve as a cornerstone for the consortia of partnered degree programs under the First Responders University (FRU) / Center of Excellence (COE) concept. The contracted university will provide a comprehensive two-year curriculum using newly created or existing material that is customized for the Coast Guard and the emergency management and first responder communities. Services will include content development, instructional design, virtual content delivery, student support resources, research, and technical, analytical, and administrative support.
