GLMAIN - Pettibone Creek Stabilization
Type: Forecast
Overview
Description
GLMAIN Pettibone Creek Stabilization
PROBLEM STATEMENT: Removal of steam line near entrance to Pettibone Creek has led to footing falling towards the creek, destabilizing the slope. The problem continues to get worse, which affects the only viable equipment entrance to the trail along Pettibone. Approximately 150 LF requires stabilization and old footing removal is recommended. Army Corp permit will be required. Sheet piling and backfill is a possible solution. JUSTIFICATION: Entrance and slope being destabilized is used for pedestrian traffic and construction equipment for projects along the creek.
