Description
Congressionally directed project under Great American Outdoors Act. This project will overlay pavement on existing roads in McPhee Reservoir to the boat launch ramp at the Marina. McPhee Reservoir was constructed and is operated by the United States Bureau of Reclamation and dams the Dolores River to furnish irrigation water for Montezuma and Dolores counties and the Ute Mountain Ute Indian Reservation. The Dolores Ranger District Fire Cache is only accessible by utilizing this system of roads.
