FY25 Generator UFR - 401kW Above
Type: Forecast • Source ID: F2025071035
Overview
Description
There has been an identified shortage requirement of twenty-two (22) generators to fill critical holes within the Generator
Power Packs at both CONUS & OCONUS locations. Of the twenty-two (22), three (3) are 401kW and above.
The procurement of generators is essential to providing lifesaving/life sustaining support which directly supports the agency's ability to support public safety. The agency is responsible for supporting the Temporary Emergency Power Mission during disaster activities, by maintaining a fleet of Generators at Distribution Centers located at both the CONUS and OCONUS locations to support emergency response operations. The procurement of generators will help to reduce maintenance costs of the aging generator fleet; replace generators that have exceeded their lifecycle; and fill critical
shortfalls across the agency. This aligns with public safety and the administration's commitment to cost efficiency and effective resource management.
