Overview
Description
FEMA maintains a fleet of generators at its CONUS & OCONUS locations. There has been an identified shortage of twenty-two (22) generators across the fleet. The procurement of generators is essential to providing lifesaving / life sustaining support which directly supports the agency's ability to support public safety. The agency is responsible for supporting the Temporary Emergency Power
Mission during disaster activities, by maintaining a fleet of Generators at Distribution Centers located at both the CONUS and OCONUS locations to support emergency response operations. The procurement of generators will help to reduce maintenance costs of the aging generator fleet; replace generators that have exceeded their lifecycle; and fill critical shortfalls across the agency
