Description
This project rehabilitates nine historic structures at the Franklin Lake Campground on the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Constructed by the CCC in the 1930s and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 it has provided respite to thousands of recreationists for nearly 100 years and operates at near 90 capacity during the peak season. The structures require rehabilitation to prevent further degradation and to continue to provide services to the public.
