Field Office Support Services (FOSS) Recompete

As a component of the DHS, USCIS oversees lawful immigration to the United States and the U.S. naturalization process. The USCIS Field Operations Directorate (FOD) manages 88 field offices nationwide (including U.S. territories), in which immigration benefit applicants are interviewed and requests for benefits are adjudicated. Most field offices are comprised of Federal adjudication and records support positions. In larger offices, administrative and clerical support is to be provided by a mixture of Federal and contract staff. The FOSS contract provides contract administrative and clerical staff to ensure that USCIS is prepared to handle application and petition volumes.
