FEMA-Disaster Response Branch FESP Enhanced Cellular Router Kits

This requirement is for Enhanced Cellular Router Kits and testing tools information technology that will extensively support FEMA's disaster mission. This equipment will be managed by the OCIO, IT Disaster Operations Division, Disaster Response Branch. The Disaster Response Branch mission is to provide voice, data, and video technologies for disaster field office in compliance with DHS/FEMA policy. The Disaster Response Branch (DR) is the only branch with authority to extend the FEMA Enterprise Service Provider (FESP) into the field offices created during times of presidentially declared federal disasters. This requirement is for enhanced cellular router kits and testing tools that will be managed, maintained and installed by the OCIO, Disaster Response Branch, which is located in Winchester, VA. This request will provide equipment to outfit disaster facilities with external communication abilities for federal, state, and tribal governments. These enhanced cellular kits will meet the needs of highly demanding applications and environments across a broad range of industries, and possess the features and capabilities required to support such applications and communications within the disaster facilities. By utilizing IT infrastructure equipment in addition to these enhanced cellular routing kits which meet the strict DHS/FEMA security standards, this equipment will be used exclusively for disaster operations and will not be used for any other purpose.
