Description
This project will replace the deteriorated boardwalk, constructed 2004, including piles, decking, stringers and a lumber handrail. The boardwalk is elevated over water and sensitive wetlands. Treated lumber and decking materials will be replaced with sustainable and more treated lumber and composite (recycled plastic and wood) products. An elevated shade structure on one viewing platform and approximately 8 wooden visitor s benches along the length of the boardwalk that will also be replaced.
