ERCIP ‐ RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECT ‐ INSTALL 500KW CVD PKG PV & EV CHARGING SYSTEM B479
Type: Forecast
Overview
Description
This project includes all materials and labor for the installation of a 00KW covered parking PV system and two dual (i.e. four) port bollard mount electric vehicle
charging stations at DLA Indo Pacific Headquarter's (B479) parking area on JBPHH, Hawaii. System will consist ofmultiple mono crystalline, rack mounted PV panels, charging stations, inverters, sub meter, wiring, distribution conduits and mounting, disconnects, trenching, and controls. Electricity generated will power critical building loads, EV charging stations, and subsequently be routedthrough B479's electrical substation. This system shall meet all applicable federal, state, local codes including host requirements, guidelines, and instructions. The renewable power from this PV system will support DLA and Dept of Navy's (DON) annual and long term renewable energy requirements of 1GW (DON) and help to attain 25% energy intensity and greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions by 2025. Additionally, the covered parking benefits the tenants against damaging ultraviolet rays, reducing the heat island effect of the paved parking area, and provides clean energy for
zero emission fleet vehicles.
