Enterprise Health Unit Services

Enterprise Health Unit Services for students and staff at Government provided Health Unit facilities at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in Artesia, NM, Charleston, SC, and Glynco, GA. These three Training Delivery Points (TDPs) operate a health unit facility in each location each training day and when required, on weekends. These facilities also perform annual physicals on staff who's position description requires it. The Cheltenham, MD, training delivery point does not have a Health Unit facility but is included in this contract to perform health screenings on incoming students and to procure a subcontractor facility to see staff for annual physicals and non-emergency student illnesses/injuries. The Artesia, Charleston and Glynco health services contract staff are also required to go to the site on Center where a student, staff member, or other contractor is in an emergency medical situation and provide them medical aid either until an EMS team arrives or until the patient is stable enough to return to the Health Unit for additional testing and car. At the Cheltenham, MD there is no requirement to attend Emergency Medical Assistance. The Artesia, Charleston, Cheltenham and Glynco health services staff are required to send staff members to conduct Health Screenings on new students who have just arrived at FLETC. Those screenings determine if the student is medically cleared to participate in all aspects of their training requirements. The Artesia, NM health unit also requires a contracted Athletic Trainer position that is not required by the other TDPs. This is not the entirety of the services required for this acquisition for four separate TDPS for FLETC. NOTE: THIS ACTION WILL BE SET-ASIDE FOR COMPETITIVE 8(a).
