Description
The FEMA Operations Center (FOC) is the official notification point for FEMA and supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Executive Branch departments and agencies with programs authorized by PPD 40, Title VI of the Stafford Act, and Executive Order 12656. The FOC is designated as the Executive Agent for oversight and management of alerts, notifications, and warnings and dissemination process.
The Emergency Conferencing and Alerting Notification System (ECANS) will be acquired and utilized to meet the above requirements. This is a Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) Software as a Service (SaaS) hosted and Fedramp Approved. ECANS will provide alert, notification, and conferencing bridging solutions to support the FOC in critical missions for the agency.
