E2 (SRF) YSK-A48 PROVIDE NEW SHOWER FOR MENS RESTROOM

Scope of Work: a. Provide new shower room at men's restroom. (1) Remove existing water closets (3), Storage (2), Urinals (8) and Janitor Rm. (2) Provide new Men's Shower Room as shown in the reference drawing, including related plumbing, electrical, architectural, and civil works. (3) Provide new heat exchanger unit as shown in the reference drawing for the new Men's Shower Room. 2. Justification / Reason: a. Certificate Requirement: JISHA, JICOSH b. Operational Impact: SRF-JRMC / Shop-X38 (Machine Shop) can't do their operation due to heavy sweating and/or soiling of body. c. Life/Safety/Health Concern: Life/Safety/Health concern. d. Current Condition: There is no shower rooms for Shop X38 since Bldg. A41 was demolished by FIP Project. Even if Bldg. A41 was demolished by FIP Project, FIP Project doesn't consider preparing alternative plan. That's why, we're planning to prepare shower room in Bldg. A48 instead of FIP Project. According to the result of our survey, existing restroom in Bldg. A48 can be renovated for the shower room as shown in attached reference drawing. 3. Recommendation / Information / Special Requirements: a. Existing Men's, Women's Restroom, Bath Tub and Locker for Cloth are out of scope of this project. b.
