DLA-POL Demolish Makaha Ridge AST 733 PMRF

Request DC services for design services for the following project description: Facility 733 is a shop fabricated 1000 gallon aboveground tank located at Makaha Ridge, PMRF Barking Sands used for filling various equipment on site. The tank is only filled every 2 years due to extremely low through put and does not warrant maintaining the tank in active status. Low use coupled with the high cost to repair and maintain the facility warrants decommissioning and decapitalization of the facility endorsed by the Commanding Officers of PMRF and DLA. The tank was previously drained and cleaned through the RMMR program under SO MAK-PND-602. The SOW for the project is to remove tank 733 and all related appurtenances for disposal off-site. Salvageable equipment has already been removed. Existing spill containment shall be retained for future use.
