DISTRIBUTIVE ANTENNA SYSTEM (DAS)

We will need a distributed antenna system (DAS) to extend cellular coverage throughout USMMA, with a particular focus on delivering reliable service to the dormitories and other campus buildings. By integrating a network of connected antennas and signal amplification equipment, the DAS enhances indoor and outdoor wireless reception, reduces dead zones, and supports higher data throughput for students, faculty, and staff. The system is planned to seamlessly interface with existing telecom infrastructure, ensuring consistent voice and data quality across classrooms, recreation facilities, administrative offices, and housing areas. Implementing a DAS not only improves day-to-day communications but also strengthens campus safety and emergency response by providing robust connectivity in critical locations where conventional cellular signals may be weak or obstructed.
