Description
The scope of work shall encompass application development that supports all CBP operational and support offices. The project involves dynamic development to address emerging high-priority initiatives, with an emphasis on adaptability to evolving requirements in an agile and responsive manner. Examples of tasks included in this scope of work consists of, but are not limited to, the development of mobile and web applications, integration of cognitive services (e.g. chat bots, etc.) into both existing and new applications, implementation of machine learning and artificial intelligence, data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT) device integration, gateway solutions, integration of biometrics technology into new and existing applications, blockchain implementation, and other CBP capabilities as needed. Cross-functional support for the Agile Teams (e.g., automated testing and continuous integration, continuous delivery) involved is essential to the success of this effort.
