OVERVIEW
Description
In FY'23, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), intends to solicit for a Multi-Award, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to augment and/or replace existing / expiring body armor as a follow on to its current contract. This contract shall provide CBP with suitable National Institute of Justice (NIJ) 0101.06 certified Level IIIA ballistic armor and carrier systems which meet the agency's specific identified requirements. The contract may also be designated as available to other Federal Government Agencies for use both within and outside of the Department of Homeland Security and may require a production in excess of 120,000 units over the life of the contract.
Acquisition Strategy: This will be a multiple award IDIQ for Body Armor replacing a multiple award IDIQ. Anticipating to set aside to small businesses.
