Detention and Transportation Services

This requirement supports the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE), Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) located in San Diego, CA. The goal of this project is to provide armed and unarmed detention officer services for detainees in San Diego ICE/ERO custody and operate vehicles between various Field Office Area of Responsibility (AOR) locations. The Contractor will be responsible for the security, control, and well-being of detainees and accountable for the detainees personal possessions during transportation and guarding. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary knowledge, equipment, personnel, and services to transport detainees of all nationalities. The Contractor shall be required to operate Government-Owned Vehicles (GOV), which will be made available by ICE/ERO. The contractor shall be required to provide and maintain Contractor-Owned Vehicles (COVs) to include buses, vans, sedans, and SUVs. The contractor shall provide all transportation services required to transport detainees securely to locations as directed by the designated ICE official. The contractor shall operate, manage, and maintain uniformed DO staff, 24 hours per day, 7-days per week, year-round, for the detention and transportation of detainees under the responsibility of San Diego ICE/ERO.
