Department of War Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS)

Contractor shall provide sustainment of the Department of War Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS). ABIS' fundamental purpose is enabling end-users to biometrically identify and verify threat actors' identity in support of the decision-making process (analyze, decide and act) supporting maneuver, intelligence, force protection, security and national defense operations at the tactical, operational, strategic and national level. ABIS biometric match results enable the warfighter, commanders, biometric submitters, the intelligence community (IC) and other government agencies with the capability to conduct identity intelligence, make informed decisions and act against threat actors (Peer/Near-Peer) and neutral/unknown/non-aligned adversaries.
