Overview
Description
Procure the Deck and Hatch Assembly (Assy) for Vertical Launching System (VLS). Deck and Hatch Assembly is the upper part of a MK 41 VLS module which contains eight (8) Cell Hatches and one (1) Uptake Hatch along with the mechanical parts necessary to open them. Deck and hatches assembly is a safety critical component of MK 41 Vertical Launch System (VLS). When MK 41 VLS is installed in the combatant, Deck and Hatch Assembly becomes a part of ship structure. It contains the framework necessary to attach to other MK 41 VLS module components (uptake sections and plenum) which must be precisely aligned.
