Overview

Description
Replace existing overheat 6900V, 3 distribution system on Radio Hilll with new underground 12,470V, 3 , 4W distribution system due to non-standard distribution voltage of existing 6900V overhead feeder F9. Provide concrete encased feeder with spare 5" conduit in ductbank and manholes spaced no more than 200 feet apart per UFC 3-550-01. Provide above ground junction pedestal splice boxes with visual fault indicators per phase. Provide new padmount transformers rated for new 12.47kV, 3 primary voltage or 7.2 kV, 1 primary voltage as appropriate to replace existing overhead transformers. Install AMI meters on the secondary of each padmount transfomer and connect meter communications fiber to AMI network. Provide 1 x 2 fiber communications concrete ductbank for existing fiber line relocation to new underground duct if feasible; otherwise provide replacement fiber line in underground communications duct.
