Cyber Career Pathway Micro-Challenge

CISA Chief of Contracting Office (COCO) Biannual FY24 Industry Day is May 1, 2024. The purpose of the event is to provide Industry updates on known FY24 CISA procurements and projected FY25 procurements. There will also be an opportunity for question and answers with CISA COCO Contracting Officers. To register, please go to SAM.gov. CISA is a Federal partner alongside the National Security Agency (NSA) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) program. The NCAE-C program designates colleges and universities that meet the rigorous program requirements as Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD), Cyber Operations (CAE-CO), and Research (CAE-R). Currently there are over 420 CAE designated colleges and universities within the program. Additionally, within the program, there are several initiatives aimed at increasing the number of students entering the cybersecurity workforce and building the competencies of students to tackle the nation s most critical cybersecurity challenges. As CISA works to create a robust pipeline of highly qualified cybersecurity professionals to meet the workforce demands of today and the future, it require tools for students and professionals, whether reskilling or retooling, to explore the knowledge, skills, and tasks (TKS) of the everyday cybersecurity professional.
