Description
This requirement provides customer service operations to support the maintenance of the Office of Financial Management s customer service program systems and tools. The Government is acquiring this effort as a short-term, six-month bridge contract to ensure uninterrupted delivery of critical services while the follow-on competitive acquisition is completed. Given the brief period of performance and the risks associated with transitioning to a new contractor for such a temporary requirement including potential disruptions to service continuity and increased onboarding costs the Government has determined that awarding this interim contract on a sole-source basis to the incumbent contractor, a small business concern, is in the best interest of the program.
