Core Data Support Services

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) hosts the independent Office of Homeland Security Statistics (OHSS). OHSS is tasked to expand its data statistics services and improve the quality and timeliness of the data produced. Successful service expansion and quality improvement require exploring technical tools to enable improved data management for data quality, data security, and data sharing with other government agencies and DHS Components. The scope of the work includes project management activities, strategic planning, priority alignment, technology adoption, and process improvement. This contract will support OHSS expansion of end-to-end data governance and data services from the legacy Office of Immigration Statistics (OIS). DHS requires support core data process support services in the OHSS. These processes and support systems can expand the capabilities and capacity for a much broader scope of OHSS s data statistics services and data transparency to government agencies, Congress, and the public.
