Overview
Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is leading the construction, enhancement, and maintenance of physical barriers, associated infrastructure, and technology equipment along the U.S. southern border as part of the Border Wall Program. To ensure the successful execution of this program and on time completion before the end of the Administration, DHS requires the services of an experienced Construction Program Management (CPM) contractor to act as an Independent Quality Assurance Contractor overseeing the program goals and outcomes. The CPM will apply value engineering principles to optimize project performance, accelerate delivery schedules, reduce costs without compromising quality, and ensure compliance with all applicable standards and requirements. Requirements include the development of integrated master schedules, risk-adjusted cost estimates, a program management plan, dashboards to supply real-time key metrics, and all activities related to construction oversight, including quality and safety assurance, value engineering, and risk management.
