CONSTRUCT PROJECT SAMOSA

This project will construct a new radome facility for SCN 18-12 Ground Antenna System at the northwest side of NCTS (Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station) Receiver Site. The structure will consist of a radome concrete foundation, concrete slab, and concrete antenna base pedestal surrounded by a concrete ring wall, connective infrastructure, and related antenna system. Site preparations include site excavation and fill, temporary facilities, erection support structures, laydown areas, and related preparation for construction. Site improvements include perimeter backfill and grading, access road, drainage system, and restoration works. Mechanical utilities include air conditioning system, equipment support pads, and enclosures. Electrical utilities include underground power system with associated trenching, outside lighting, transformer and distribution panel, switching components, grounding and lightning protection, and emergency standby power systems; fire detection and alarm system; telecommunication system; and related physical security system requirements (e.g., intrusion detection system and automated entry control system)
