Overview
Description
NASA's Commercial Low-Earth Orbit Development Program (CLDP) intends to spur the development of new low-Earth orbit space destinations and supporting systems from private industry. This effort aims to obtain the ability to provide routine utilization of low-Earth orbit and maintain a continuous U.S. presence in space as the International Space Station is retired. These systems may include end-to-end services such as the in-orbit destination, visiting vehicles, and supporting launch vehicles and ground systems.
